About Me
I am is a registered drama psychotherapist with both the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom. I hold a Master’s degree in Dramatherapy from Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge, United Kingdom) and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Psychology from the University of Cape Town (South Africa).
Since graduating in 2022, my clinical experience spans working in community counselling settings, schools, and an NHS psychiatric hospital. I have facilitated both group and individual sessions for children, young people, and adults, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation and expression, and identity.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in creativity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. Drawing on drama and expressive arts, I support clients to explore emotions, strengthen self-awareness, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. I am passionate about inclusive mental health care and have extensive experience supporting children, young adults, and neurodiverse individuals.
